Without you ive never played guitar…first Metallica song i practised was Jump in the Fire and it was ´87 or '88 in high school…and everybody watched me and my friend drummer like we are fucking freaks with long hair and shit, and my class mate only guy who listened metal really, everyone was listening pop or dance or madonna and that shit…we practised all times between music classes it was 15 minutes then 45minute class and then we were there like can we 15minutes again…back then there was no drums nobody owned those and amplifiers, I played acoustic guitar at home…and we tried to play like metallica but that sounded fukin good haha…but we were serious and everyone laughed you loosers, but we didnt care that shit. Im still into that shit, turned 49 and still hearing, not long hair anymore but metal in heart. Thanks man for making music..pioneers of metal and cheers for Lars also!
